Learn to Balance first:
Not only is the EZBT the most cost effective bike to learn to balance, it also manages to teach balance during kids very early developmental stages, from 2 years old, without having to confuse kids with additional pedaling issues. Pedaling is a separate learning issue and learned second, after small kids know how to balance. So, very young kids should learn to balance first, on their own time, during play, but very early in life. Once the balancing skill is mastered on the EZbicytrainer, then kids get a bicycle with pedals, balance already being a learned kill, the rest should be pretty EZ.
The Ezbalance bike™ is the lightest, most cost effective balance bike compared to any other type of bike of its kind anywhere in the world. Its a great way to teach small children from two to five year old the art of balance during their early formative learning years. The bike has no 'wobble effect' whatsoever, typically obtained from traditional bikes with small, slightly raised rear training wheels.
Due to the fact that the Ezbalance bike™ training wheels are the same size as the main central rear wheel. The Ezbalance bike™ is a true two wheeler. The same size rear training wheels give a smooth ride to children from their very first push. So, its very comforting. It is not only a toy, but it teaches balance as well.
Because the rear training wheels are the same size as the main wheels, the ride is the most comfortable and smooth ride kids will ever be able to have. The training wheels support children by deforming and reforming resiliently, giving support while children learn to balance, during playtime. The training wheels are also extremely tough, and will last a much longer time than it will take a child to learn balance. The training wheels eventually wear away. You can get a Ezbalance bike™ with, or without training wheels, just ask.
Quality
The rear wheels are covered, so children's heels have a harder time getting roughed up. And there is no outside wheel to hook on furniture, when playing indoors. The main central wheels are made of a single part, so wont split in two, or even three parts as they wear out, thus lasting longer. The central wheels have a middle ridge built in, giving a longer lasting wear time. The forks are supported by weight stress distributors, so the shafts will have a greater resistance to tearing the plastic steering support. Rear weight stress is distributed along the rear of the bike, and the rear shaft has three times more support than most plastic bikes, and as such wont tear through the rear plastic with normal rough kids use. The Ezbalance bike™ is built tough, designed to last.
Two wheeled balance bikes are better than three wheelers, as the rear wheels go through holes, and over bumps, maintaining balance.
Our training wheels deform and reform, retaining their shape. Thus the Ezbalance bike™ can ride more safely and comfortably over rough territory. Three wheelers have to unbalance in rough territory, as one of the rear wheels lift the bike to one side when going over bumps, or drop to one side, when going through a hole, causing three wheel bikes to unbalance. Three wheelers outer wheels also hook on clumps of grass, or battle to go over or through. Ours don't, the training wheels deform and reform, the central wheels follow one another, and go on.
Parents, please take note the Ezbalance bike™ should be used under adult supervision.
Smooth polished vinyl floors can cause the wheels to slip.
No kids more than 42 kilograms ( 85 pounds ) should ride the Ezbalance bike™.
The Ezbalance bike™ is for all children from two to five years old.
The Ezbalance bike™ has been patented in all the main Asia manufacturing countries.

The idea was originally seeded in the European summer 2009, when I, was visiting Menno Feitsma on a business trip for African Butterfly Hair clips in Amsterdam, Holland. On my last evening there I saw a family of 4 each hop onto individual bikes, all the family were on normal bikes, but the youngest, she had to be about 4 or 5 years old, her bike was wooden, it had no pedals, no sprocket or chain, the rest of the bike was normal, her feet were unencumbered as she pushed the bike along the road, using foot power. I wandered, 'How can I mass produce something that does the same thing?' Wood is expensive, not weather proof, and the bike couldn't be used easily in soft grass, the girl, essentially, was learning to ride a bicycle, while she was on an outing with her family, this was fantastic.
I wanted to do the same thing for the whole world. Regardless weather it was Summer or Winter, hot or cold, indoors or out doors, northern Hemisphere, or the Southern one. A toy for every child, that teaches the child 'how to ride a bicycle', while on an outing or at play with friends, anywhere had to be invented.
There were some obstacles.
1) It snows in winter in Europe, I had to make something that would work indoors, during long bad weather periods, it couldn't catch onto furniture, doors, moms leg, grandpa's foot, and so on. It had to have rear inner wheels, protected.
2) It had to be strong enough to carry about 42 kgs or 85 pounds, a child 18 months up to 5 years old. 85 pounds is plenty strong Enough.
3) It had to have trainer wheels, on the inside, to support a child, while the child was learning. ( The most difficult part ).
4) The trainer wheels had to be properly functional, safe and strong, and be long lasting.
5) Kids had to have a lot of fun on it.
6) It had to be acceptable and safe in the eyes of parents.
7) It had to be a great outdoors toy as well.
8) Kids from every corner of the world had to be able to use it.
9) It had to be able to sell in the retail environment.
10) It had to be, completely different from anything ever made.
11) It had to be very attractive.
12) It had to be relatively inexpensive.
The EZBICYTRAINER™ was invented. It took about a year to 'see' the whole thing in my head, the rear wheel, and method of assembly was the issue.
The 6th design engineer to accept the project is a guy named Norman A Nieuwenhuizen, of Sunward park, Boksburg. He had the knowledge to put my vision into practice.
So, on Friday 29 September 2010, I got the PCT number for the EZBICYTRAINER™, the number is: PCT: \ ZA 2010 \ 000058.
Now we have to show it to the world.
